About caller ID
When you make a call, your name and phone number can be displayed to people who have caller identification features on their phones. You can select how your caller ID is displayed when you make calls.
Managing your caller ID
You can use caller ID settings to have one caller ID when you're making calls from any of your phone numbers. You can also set a company number as your caller ID if you're making calls on behalf of a specific group.
If your administrator has locked a feature for you, you can't edit options for that feature. Contact your administrator.
Withholding your caller ID
You can select to display your caller ID on all calls or only on internal calls, or to withhold your caller ID on all calls. You can also select an option to use phone shortcuts to display or withhold your caller ID on each call.

Access One Net Feature Management Portal.
- Select My Numbers > My Numbers List.
The list of your phone numbers is displayed.
- In the My Landline Number section, select View More.
- In the My Caller ID section, select View More.
- Select Edit.
- In the Caller ID Visibility section, select when your caller ID is visible.
- If you want to use phone shortcuts to select whether to display your caller ID for each call, for Allow changing this setting for each call using Phone Shortcuts?, select Yes.
To make a call when this option is active, dial one of the following phone shortcuts before the phone number you want to call:
- 1470 to display your caller ID
- 141 to withhold your caller ID
Setting alternative caller ID
You can set an alternative caller ID for any of your phone numbers. You can use this feature to have one caller ID for all of your phone numbers and use a company number as your caller ID.
To set an alternative caller ID

Access One Net Feature Management Portal.
- Select My Numbers > My Numbers List.
The list of your phone numbers is displayed.
- Select View More for the phone number you want to configure an alternative caller ID for.
- In the My Caller ID section, select View More.
- Select Edit.
- For Do you want to configure an Alternative Caller ID?, select Yes.
- Select whether you want to use one of your phone numbers or one of company numbers as your alternative caller ID, and select a phone number from the list.
- To use your alternative caller ID on all calls, for I use my Alternative Caller ID, select As my default number.
Or
To use your alternative caller ID only when you use a phone shortcut, for I use my Alternative Caller ID, select Only when using a Phone Shortcut.
To make a call when this option is active, dial one of the following phone shortcuts before the phone number you want to call:
- #45#phone number* to use your alternative caller ID
- #46#phone number* to use your regular caller ID
