Managing ringing options
You can set up how you want your incoming calls to ring your devices, for example, which of your devices should ring when you receive incoming calls or what happens to calls you don't pick up. You can also select different ringtones for calls coming from different phone numbers and view which call ringing features are assigned to you.
If your administrator has locked a feature for you, you can't edit options for that feature. Contact your administrator.
Setting ringing options
You can set the following ringing options:
- Whether you want incoming calls to ring your devices one by one (in a sequence) or all at once (simultaneously).
- Which of your devices should ring when you receive a call.
- What happens to the call if you don't pick it up.
To set ringing options
- Select My Numbers > How My Numbers Connect.
- In the How My Numbers Ring section, select View More.
- Select Edit.
- Select On.
- In the Receiving Numbers section, select the phone numbers you want to apply the ringing settings to.
- In the section, select what happens to calls ringing your phone numbers:
- Select whether calls ring your devices in a sequence or simultaneously.
- Select which of your phone numbers incoming calls ring on.
- Select what happens to calls if you don't pick them up.
Setting distinctive ringing
You can set different ringtones for incoming calls depending on their origin.
This feature only works on desk phones that provide distinctive ringtones. It doesn't work on mobile phones.
To set distinctive ringing for internal and external calls
- Select My Numbers > How My Numbers Connect.
- In the Distinctive Ringing section, select View More.
- Select Edit.
- To set a ringtone for internal calls, for Inside One Net network, select a ringtone from the list.
To set a ringtone for external calls, for Outside One Net network, select a ringtone from the list.
To set distinctive ringing based on origin of the call
- Select My Numbers > How My Numbers Connect.
- In the Distinctive Ringing section, select View More.
- Select .
- In the Calls from section, enter the initial sequence of digits of the phone numbers you want to set a ringtone for.
- In the Will use section, select a ringtone from the list.
To view, edit or delete distinctive ringing
- Select

or
for the distinctive ringing entry you want to view, edit or delete.
Viewing ringing features
You can view which call features related to your ringing options are active. Your administrator can activate or deactivate these features for you.

You can answer calls ringing on one of your phones by using the phone shortcut #154* on your device you want to answer the call on. |

My Call Park |
You can temporarily park a call while you're carrying out a task such as resolving a customer query. When you are ready to resume the call, you can retrieve it using the same device or pick it up using another phone in a different location. |

Call Pickup Group |
When you're a part of a call pickup group, you can answer calls ringing on other members' phones by dialling the phone shortcut #155*. |
